When I bought my 68 Bird a year ago, the mirrors on the car were the “Bullet” style mirrors which weren’t available until 1969. Not only were they the wrong mirrors but they also would not stay in position. This presented a safety issue when driving the car on the highway. I replaced the mirrors with the correct round Type I mirrors from NPD. The bullet mirrors are in excellent shape and had the remote cables hidden inside the doors. Both cables work and the passenger cable longer than the drivers side cable. I am asking $100.00 plus shipping for both mirrors. I think this is a fair asking price considering the cheap reproduction mirrors are going for $100.00 each.
