Has anybody heard of cars (1967 Conv.) that came out of the factory without the Quarter panel louvers ? My car doesn´t have any. Have checked and there are no signs of welding on the inside where they are supposed to be. Looks like the panels are original too..No signs of any welding..
Yes, someone welded 'Maro quarters on. (or plain flat sheetmetal)
All '67's came with louvers.

Evald , you could buy the louvers , graft them in, then repaint, but a big job , especially if the car looks ok now...something to do in a restoration case.
Most likely I will get new quarters When starting with the body work. Got the car in NY state When working in Canada 4 years ago, as a project car. Just got it back in running condition.
I have been at the "Flat out" meetings in Åtvidaberg with my Firebird a couple of times. I bought my Firebird 3 years ago and is still learning about these cars, but I have been in the old car hobby for many years.
