A few years back someone on here had a great thread on restoring their seats. Down to cleaning up the frames springs and finding NOS comfortweave material at SMS. Does anyone have a link to that thread? Ive looked but cant seam to find out the archieves here.
I found the thread i was looking for. Now I have another question. I have a 1969 conv. red interior. There is three different shades of red showing up for 69. Theres light med. or dark. The trim code for my car is 214. All I can get out of that is that I have deluxe red (comfort weave) . How do I know what SHADE of red the car originally had? short of getting samples is there other "codes" to look for? I have the body broadcast sheet and it also has A31 and C06 listed under FISHER TRIM OPTIONS. Anyone know what those trim codes would be? I also was told that the med red 8014 for '68 is the same as 9015 for '69. My Hardtop is green , dark green metallic. From what I understand the one and only dark green ... wish the red was that simple.
