Hi, Has anyone used those new LED tail lamps and what are your opinions. I have an all original 68 FB and the old tail lamps are not bright and are very old looking. Do they look like originals? thanks.

I have two friends who use them, look brighter....but dont look like originals except the outline shape....but they are ok....they were too 'far from' original look for me.

I have a kit ( I think they are call or made by Spagetti something, dont remember the last part of name) that uses LED boards that mount to the inside to the tail light housing and I like them, everything else looks stock except when you use the turn signals, 4 way flashers or brake lights. The ones I have can be set to act as regular lights or the sequential lights. Everyone that has seen them like them and plus the added benefit they are brighter.

Ok, so it seems that it really is not a stock OEM look which is want I really want. What have you done to brighten up the real tail lights. I see i can buy new tail light lens assemblys how are they? Do they look original? If so, what has been done to make them brighter? Or am I over thinking this? Thanks.

Yes, mine look stock! It uses the same factory lense and housing. They look brighter, the only difference is you can use them as sequential (a ripple like blinking) or as regular, as far as blinkers and brake lights go.
