My phs doc. says my car came with an 8-track tape player, but I don't know where it was located in the car? The am radio is in the dash and does not work. There are no other holes in the dash. Where was the 8-track located in a 69? Pete

In a 67 it goes under the dash in an enclosure, either hanging under the dash if no console or bolted to the top of the console.

The '69 Firebird 8-track tape player is mounted on the front of the console.
