AC heater box assembly with ducts and vents removed from a 1968 Firebird 25 years ago. Will also fit a 1967 Firebird but the 67 Firebird ac heater box did not have the small blower control switch which is on top of the heater box. This switch has been tested and it works fine. It's possible that all you have to do is something minor or not worry about it but I'm not sure. A couple of duct mounting brackets were cracked and I glued them with gorilla glue. They have been inspected and will hold fine and give you good service. An original section of the defroster diffusor which includes the original mounting hole snapped off. I drilled a hole 1 1/2" above the original mounting hole. The assembly is good and strong and will cause no lack of performance. All ducts and vents (including the two toe vents) have been cleaned inside and out and polished. The center plastic transfer duct has no cracks or holes. The upper vent chrome bezel has some minor pitting but still very good in appearance. The heater core box has been disassembled, cleaned and refinished with black satin paint. The two heater core retaining straps are mounted in their proper locations also. All you need is to install a heater core to complete the set-up. The firewall to heater box seal is included and in great shape. There is a sticker where the two heater core pipes come out with a date of Jun 6 '68. $450.00 plus shipping. 413-262-3445, Jim.
