Is there a way to adjust the speed of the console clock on my 68 FB? It seems to run about 20 minutes slow per 24 hours. I was hoping there may be a screw to adjust for the speed, time. Thanks
Each time you reset the clock, a small adjustment is made to the speed. If you set the clock forward, it is incremented to run faster. If you set it back, it is decremented to run slower. If you make daily adjustments to the clock, eventually it will keep accurate time.
The mechanism that makes this correction is fragile and sometimes doesn't work. You would need a watch repair specialist then.
Try daily adjustments and see if it improves it's accuracy.
The factory clocks were notorious for being problematic. If you aren't into concours judging, there are many companies that will convert your clock to a modern quartz movement which is very accurate.
Any one of the numerous automobile gauge rebuilding companies across the country offer this service.

There was a base that mounted the clock to the console, you'll need that. I'd have it converted to quartz, the mechanical clock did'nt work well from the factory. Walt
The place that restored and coverted my clock found me a replacement knob.

Jerry , not sure if you need to "fix" the clock too, but it seems like this place has 'some' spare parts , at least if you have them work on it, try them and see... web page
