does everyone here always have to say " not mine", not mine, not mine??? what differences does it make who's it is??? - if it's yours or someone else's! If I'm interested than I reply to the contact info listed in the ad!
I makes a big difference when people start PM'ing you with a boatload of questions...
It is common courtesy to add "not mine" in an ad you are posting to "hopefully" help a fellow member.
This was a big problem about 6-8 years back and adding "not mine" helped alleviate a lot of stress.

I guess I don't understand why anyone would PM a guy the gives a link to an ebay or craigslist ad. If and when a person is interested and goes to the actual ad, then anyone in their right mind would use the contact info in the ad and not the contact for a person who saw the ad, - or is that just me?
Some people do post a link to their own craigslist or Epay ads.
This just helps differentiate.
Personally, I'd like to know which case it is. But that may just be me.

I would be more likely to pm someone through the board than the add since we seem to know each other by bord names usually, I've always quoted not mine if I list an add from my area because yes you will get a lot of questions, usually from new or non members
