Has anyone had luck putting translines in with both engine and trans installed? Any tricks? I have a leaking line and just ordered replacements. Also what is the proper routing for the lines? I'll check my manuals but if someone has a good photo it would certainly help.
I may be forced to put the car up for sale so I am trying to fix the little things I have open on my list.
I put the lines in after installing the engine and tranny together. It's a bit tight getting to the fittings at the tranny end but workable - make sure you are using flare nut wrenches.
On the other hand, my front clip and radiator support were not mounted yet either.
The lines run down along the right side of the block about where the oil pan mates with the block.
