That is the vacuum advance valve. Used on all 68 v8 with manual transmission. It's in the service manual 6-d.

Mounts rear drivers side of manifold. there is a round solid barrel spacer that goes with.

Mounts rear drivers side of manifold. there is a round solid barrel spacer that goes with. Does anyone know what the spacer was for and any photos of it. I have a spacer but did not see what it would be for so I left it off.
