It seems the original starter is very tight fit with the 2 1/2 longbranch manifold,, I bought from Ames, attached to the engine. Should you have to install the starter first before the exhaust. Is there another starter you can suggest?
I have all stock starter and LBM's. The starter comes out with LMB's installed … all be it some what awkward. Have to get the wires off before you can lower it.

All starters are the same? Right. I understand it's a hard fit but after an hour of trying to install it just don't see it going in. Is there any trick to it?
