I have been restoring a 69 coupe which my dad bought in 1970 into a nice daily driver.

I have been trying to follow along with Jim's recommendations to other members but remain uncertain about what I need to change my rear end to a safe-t-track (posi).

I have factory 42-13 code in my gear set and from what I understand that means it is a 3.23 ratio? What parts would I need to make this Posi (safety track)

I am not churning out big power, I just want to avoid the dreaded "one wheel peel".

I have a mechanic friend that will be installing the new rear end components but I need to buy the right parts to make it work. Any part numbers of links would be greatly appreciated.

What is the so called big power? If you are happy with the gearing, I would think all you need is a posi unit to install.
