hi all, when I turn on the headlights on low beam in my 67 I have the drivers side lamp on only. when I hit high beam all other lights come on an that one goes out. Is it just the high beam switch?

I was wondering if you had high and low beam lamps mixed up, but if memory serves you can't do that because low beams have 3 electrical terminals and high beams 4?

I believe that the low beam filament of the outer right bulb is burned out or it has a dirty plug/terminal and the high beam filament on the outer left bulb is burned out or it has a dirty plug/terminal.

Unless there is something different in Australia, low beam bulbs have two filaments (three terminal) and high beam bulbs have one filament (two terminals.) Typically when you turn the headlights on, low beams you should get the outside bulbs on, and when you switch to the high beams all 4 bulbs should light.

It's not the high low switch. Like they said above it's most likely your passenger low beam lamp is burned out, if not it could be the wires that goes from the junction to the RH socket. Or the socket itself.

I had this problem before. I found the grounding wire on the passenger side lamps not connected to the chassis. Lamps worked as advertised after I connected the ground wire. You may have to remove the grill to access this ground wire.

+1. Like he said.

Also, it's no different in Australia, although the lights need to 'dip' the other way (to the left).

ditto on the ground wire on pass side. There is a ground I believe by the battery bracket.
