I am having trouble finding out where to plug in the gray wire for the running lights on my 67 conv, interior lights that come on with headlights, from the steering collom. There dose not seem to be a place to connect and the link supplied dose not have a gray lead coming out. dose it piggyback with another wire? Dose anyone have a picture of the connection and the proper sequence for all wires?
If I recall, when I replaced my '68s turn signal switch, the gray wire was for a column shift indicator light and not used with a floor shifter. Maybe the '67 is the same?
I have a floor shifter and there are also running lights in it. There must be a connection for all the lights somewhere. I replaced the turn cancel switch and with it they added the new connector that is flat not curved. The under dash harness is new but the curved section has no gray lead coming from it.
That's what I was referring to. The new turn signal switch wiring I used includes a gray wire to power a bulb on the column for a column shifter but with floor shift it is not used. I have a straight to curved connector adapter for mine. I cannot recall if it came with the switch or I purchased it separately.
