I am considering purchasing a 1967 400 Firebird convertible. The engine block is not original 400 engine but a new one. How can I be sure the car is an original 400 and not a 326? Would the 400 fit into the 326 engine compartment? Could someone modify a 326 with a 400 hood and trim kit?
Yes. This question was placed in two areas and all the 400 specific info was put on the other message thread under Tech Help, General.
