I have an updated compressor and confused as it only has one black wire coming out of it.
But want toake sure my other wires are correct

On the road so I can't take a picture, but the Firebird supplement shows two connections.

Mine is torn apart right now, in the middle of a stalled restoration. I did find 1 pic of the wiring on the evaporator box that I took during disassembly.

The wiring at the compressor has a green wire supplying power to energize the compressor clutch and a black wire that is grounded to the top-most compressor mounting bolt on the big aluminum bracket. If your new compressor only has 1 black wire coming out of it, then the clutch is grounded internally and the compressor black wire should go to the green wire in the harness.
