It came off a lor built 9, and it works well. It’s not on my los-built car because its strike has original paint on it, and the electric strike doesn’t match.
Wysiwyg, no additional wiring or button. I have no idea what it’s worth because I have never seen one on the market, so make an offer.

Sorry about that Amervo. I was in a rotten mood that night and I took it out on your thread...
No hard feelings and it takes a real man to step up to the plate like that. At first, I thought wtf is up with that? Even so, I blew it off, so maybe I’m not such the big [censored] that some people claim.

Cash plus trades are also considered: If you tossed in a five-dollar rock, a pair of used work boots without shoe laces, and picked up the shipping costs, we might be able to make a deal!
67D: did you try tracing the wire and see where it ends up? The factory install was a remote wire from the rear harness, not integrated, and the release button was in the glove box.

When I blow up my family just quietly come over and ask me if I had my meds today...
It goes into the wire harness at the drivers side before it disappears into the left quarter. When I was following the purple rear defroster wire in the trunk next to the package tray it reappears and goes back along with purple wire into the harness. No clue where the other end comes out yet. I was replacing the gas neck connector and clamps and found the red wire coiled up behind the trunk latch. It does not have a connector on the end. Must have been cut off. I also found the license plate light wire in the same location. Don
Where were you last year when I had to make my own trunk release? Cost me $5 for parts and 4 or 5 hours on own labor ($85/hr. sounds about right). Probably won't pass concourse judging but who am I kidding.
