What companies have people used for car transport across a few states? There is quite a few out there and some seem a little sketchy. Any good experiences with a certain company? Who should I stay away from? Thanks for the advice

Whatever you do, don't ask for a free quote!! You'll have 30 different people calling and emailing you for the next month. I learned the hard way. I'm currently using "Angles moving autos" out of California. Open transport from California to Ohio = $1,000. Should be receiving the car the next few days.. Angles came highly recommended by a member here.

I used uShip.com and I had great experience. You post the shipment details and transportation companies bid on providing the service. Once you get bids, you can see the type of feedback and rating for the companies that bid. It's a pretty cool business model.

My Scion was dropped off last night with no issues. The transport company was I And K Transport Inc. Angles moving autos is the "broker" who lines everything up. Very smooth experience. Only thing, it was hard to understand the truck driver's poor English when he called and was getting close. Oh well, the car made the journey with no damage, so that's what really matters. Highly recommend them
