I received a sail panel set from classic industries and installed them. Within two days the backing came undone and they fell down shown in the pics. I contacted classic and received another set of panels. These I did not glue the seems yet inserted the clips. When I went to glue the seam I decided to check the backing and the video shows my findings. The backings were again messed up. I contact classic and they said the manufacturer will not warranty them since it appears we used "excessive force" on the backing part. Classic will however issue a refund if I send them back. My brother has a 69 nova and the interior door panels started bubbling so he had to go through the same thing with sending back the panels and all. Does classic not provide good quality interior parts? Does anyone know of a good place to buy these? I also received a dome reflector and it is oblonged and I may send that back also.
I had bubbling issues with sets I bought from Ames. After a couple sets, I stopped trying.

Hmm. I purchased a set from Classic last spring. The holes for the clips were not in the correct location, so I just didn't use the clips. But overall, the panels turned out nice. The panels are held in with three sides of trim just fine.
The ones I received were heat welded plastic, those look more like cardboard. I wonder if they changed suppliers within the year?
I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not sure. I still have my first set so I'm considering gluing back the clips spots and then sending back the 2nd pair for my refund. Does anyone know if year one has better quality?
