New to the family of Firebird ownership. Just picket up an unmolested 1968 Convertible, Blue with white top, white interior, factory 350 two barrel, (trying to confirm it is original). Has 1976 3 speed automatic in it. Documented history. (Lots of paperwork from over the years, including orignal manual, warranty paperwork, REALLY COOL MINT 1968 accessories catalog) I am third owner, Original owner had until 2003 and then his grandson purchased it and put on about 8k miles and didn't do a whole lot to it.
It will need paint, motor rebuild and interior, however, it is mostly original except some wear items and typical things, exhaust, rims, boot, etc. Body is really good, very little rust, will not need anything structural. Has 145k miles on it.
I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not sure. Did you ever go look at it? I think I probably over paid a bit but he took my bike on partial trade, and it was the color combo I wanted in a convertible.
Nope didn't go look at it. I wanted a blue one forever, ended up getting burgundy because no blue ones ever came up for sale when I was looking. Really like the blue color with parchment interior...enjoy!
I have outdated IE 9 at work and current Firefox at home. No problems with either one.
