I have a 1969 (not a convertible). It has shoulder harnesses with a spade type clip. However, no buckle. Where should it insert? Any pictures? I have been told that there may have been a double buckle that was adjacent to the lap belt receiver but I cannot find a picture or a replacement part in any catalog. Any help is appreciated.
Shoulder belts consisted of the top belt with the male clip, and an additional lap belt with the buckle. Both lap belts were bolted to the tunnel and routed over the lap and chest. Those early shoulder belts were pretty awkward as there was no flex or retraction, so once you were buckled in, there was not much room to move around. I have them in my coupe. There may be some pictures on my photobucket by my signature, but not sure.
I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not sure.
