Ok DONT BUY the Remote mirror from NPD. Im on my second one and it is $120 wasted. It seems the mirror is positioned for the passenger side. When mounting for the driver side the mirror is angled to the sky and has limited adjustability. attemping to adjust to where a normal size human can see out of it the wires that hold the mirror on break off and is unrepairable.
So here is my question. is a non remote mirror the same as a remote mirror on a 67 Firebird???
What brand was the mirror from NPD? I just got an OER remote mirror and the adjustment for it is kinda cheesy. Thinking about bagging the remote mirror.
Any opinions? SInce the car originally had a remote mirror, should I put one back in or keep the car symmetrical and use 2 standard mirrors?
For 67 remote, there will be a visible hole in your upper interior door frame if you dont plug it with the remote. The vinyl door panels do not cover that hole like a 68 panel will. And 67's did not come with a passenger door mirror.

THANK YOU for saving me from a bad mistake. It's been too long since I looked at my PHS docs, the car had both left and right hand VANITY mirrors. Oops
Still like to find a better quality remote mirror, but maybe they don't exist since most GM parts dealers show back ordered or discontinued.
The Standard Mirror and Remote look Different. Thats Why I stayed with the remote. I finally just glued it in a useable position.
Thanks Salesguy, we've been looking over the mirror and might have to do the same. The car came with a remote and I'm putting one back in even if it doesn't adjust that well. : (
