Im now selling my motor sick of the part search , Motor rebuilt professionally complete with lot extra parts make a offer or call me ask for RJ 508 840 7258 you can hear it runs strong, will need a fuel pump . Pump has a crack in the cast body leaks oil not fuel For the right price the whole car can be for sale

Its a shame that you didn't join the OHC Chapter (only $15) and ask the group for some parts. Couple hundred of the nicest people on this planet and extremely helpful too. Had you asked me I would have parted with a spare fuel pump I have but it would have been spendy.

Snatch this one up fast and then get it rebuilt. The rebuild-able ones are desirable for obvious reasons. Then you can drive the car and ask around for a better NOS unit. I'll get the rebuilder guys weblink up soon.
I certainly would not sell the engine because fuel pumps are hard to find. If your search criteria was all the local chains, Rock Auto, etc., we could have saved you a lot of grief and told you "Don't bother." Quite frankly, I think the fuel pumps are pretty easy to find as they come up all the time on EBay and the forum Marc mentioned. Like Marc, I also carry a spare.

I think PY lists some OHC pumps for sale but I think they are 1bbl pumps. I have heard that they will work on Sprints even though they are numbered for 1bbl cars. 40446 is the number IIRC. Worth a try for a good one to see if it works and recently I have seen them go for $20.
