Hi gang, I am redo-ing my 67 400 and I intend upon adding a T/A style wing to the rear deck lid. My question is as follows: I have seen a few different companies offering wings for 67/68. I have also heard people speak of "fitment" issues with some. Does anyone know first hand if any one of the multiple has better fitment? (mainly to the quaters, i understand).
I am able to do fiberglass work so I would be able to correct any fitment issues providing it's "in the ball park". That being said I would rather avoid any rework to the proposed wing.
Bought mine from Classic Industries and it fits well. Make sure you get the 67/68 model as the 69's are too wide. Sounds like you might already be aware of that. Other than typical block sanding you'd expect from new glass it is well made and no issues.
Thanks for the info Colorado68. I have been generally happy with Classic so it doesn't surprise me to hear you report a good part from them. I think that will be the route I go.
