The manual looks like (hard to see) the 3 hose connector on the bottom of the washer pump is pointing to the passenger side, - both of my very original birds have it pointed towards the front (engine). Any idea what is the correct way?

The 73 parts manual and the service manual image 12-31 looks to show out the front toward engine. The tempest looks to be pointing to passenger side.

Look at the 68 manual...that's why I am confused, unless its another one of the Firebird mysteries...pointing towards the front, I think

Mystery resolved. The manual shows the the assy 90 degrees offset - go figure, so the correct way for the nozzles is to point straight outward towards the engine. Thanks all!
