Howdy to all from Texas - I'm re-installing a manual fuel pump from a universal electric pump.
Are there any tricks to the install because after installing and cranking the motor I am not getting fuel to the carb.
What's up?

Make sure the fuel pump eccentric is installed.

Also - when installing the pump, angle the end of the pump arm down to insure that the arm is installed BELOW the eccentric (assuming it's installed). NEVER angle the end of the pump arm up.

It might be a good idea to prime the pump before trying to draw fuel all the way from the tank through empty lines. It seems to take a long time to get it all the way from the tank to the carb. You could try priming the carb with gas. That will probably take 4or 5 tries too.
