Hi everyone my names Andrew. I mainly joined this forum to see if anyways wants to buy my 428 I have for sale. Short story is I bought a 68 firebird for the body and it came with a non running 428 installed in the car by the previous owner. Engine looks like someone did a small budget rebuild on it.
The block is a YH code with a January 1969 stamp by the distributor pad.
The heads are from a 400 the code is 061 they date back to 1968.
It comes with an edelbrock air gap intake manifold I believe it is and a holly double pumper carb I read the code back to a 650 cfm I believe. Needs a rebuild kit but the carb looks new.
Turbo 400? Guy told me thats what it is but I don't know.
Just asking 1000 for everything I can even deliver it within some mileage.
I'm not an expert on Pontiac motors so correct me if I'm wrong about anything thanks for looking! The engine is located in sacramento ca. pm me here if you have any questions.
