Must be a mid-life crisis but I can't seem to shake the desire to find another 67 Firebird Convertible. My first car back in 1990 was a 67 and it was pretty rough but a lot of fun. It wasn't a matching numbers car but it surely had some style with a primer gray front end and mismatched wheels. Somebody put a 350 in it instead of 326 and it still had a 2sp AT. I'd post a pic but don't have an image saved on a web server. I painted it lexus pearl white tri-coat when that color first came out and loved it but had to sell it.
I'd like to find another 67 Convertible that i can drive. Is it possible to find an "affordable" weekend driver that's fun but not restored? I'd love to find a white exterior, white interior, white top that can be driven but needs work. I'm not able to afford a matching #s model after googling the price of those today.
Still looking for a firebird??? I have a 67 stock Sprint 6 convertible driver, recently overhauled and painted but not restored. Dark blue w/black interior and black top. Let me know if you may be interested. Would not part with it for less than $17,000. Jack
Yes they are out there, keep looking and turning stones over. Non matching drivers drivers that need work can be had for under 10k.
