i have somewhat low vaccum (16"). i know some have no problem at this level. i'm just not that lucky. all parts are new,(drum to disc swap) except for lines but they were cleaned and blown clear. pedal is rock hard. booster and m/c have been swapped twice (part store brands). no luck.
i have tried a vac can, just rigged up to test with only slyte improve. i have a vac. pump out of a volvo that pulls 22" that will be tried this weekend. but were can you hide all of it , the trunk?
this leads me to the hydroboost, has anyone tried this. or better yet has anyone tried one of the junk yard swaps for it? the ones re-fitted for our cars are kinda high, $525+booster and $225+ for hoses. when the boosters can be bought for under $200 and $50 in hoses. that leaves a lot of room to fab a firewall mount and adapt a push rod.
just wondering if anyone has crossed this bridge or know of some info on the web. thanks
