I am looking to buy new glass and wondering the proper marking patterns for our birds. The Camaro link some refer to on glass markings only lists LOF marking locations. It says windshield is marked on the outside for viewing from the inside. Side glass could be marked on either side for viewing from the inside. I'm going with PPG as I think that is primarily what birds used. I believe my PPG side glass is original but the markings are all over the map. I have bird glass windows. Both left windows are marked on the inside to be viewed from the outside. But the right side windows are as follows: RF marked on the outside to be viewed from the inside and the RR is marked on the outside to be viewed from the outside. My windshiel is not original so I could use help on that as well. Another way to think through this is that the bird glass is opposite: left is marked inside viewed outside and right is marked outside viewed inside. But the quarter glass is: left marked inside viewed outside and right marked outside viewed outside.
I can't find any rhime or reason to this??? Could use some help sorting this out?????
