Looking for a PCV Valve grommet for my 68 400. Preferably one that will last longer that 6 months. I am looking at a Dorman 42054 and 42056. If someone knows of any better ones I would appreciate it.

I got mine at Auto zone and never had a problem with it.

What about the grommet is failing in 6 months?
Same here, autozone part going on 7 years with no issues.

My engine builder told me that some of the grommets are made very cheaply and wont last long plus they break and fall apart. I will check with AutoZone. I did find a couple of original grommets on eBay #121782559654.
