Hello everyone, New to posting on a Forum but I am looking for some help. I have a 1967 Firebird 400, 400THM, A/C, Power Steering, Non Power Brake, Convertible. My question is this, when I got the car all the vacuum lines had been removed and capped off, accept for the Distributor and the Modulator for the Transmission, I do not think the Distributor was plugged into the right ports, and the A/C vents would not switch, does anyone have a picture or diagram of the vacuum line routing, I am pretty sure I know where the Transmission Vacuum line goes, due to the metal tube going to the trans and to the front of the Carb, I have a vacuum line coming from the firewall, I believe goes to the A/C, there is a bolt for the carb that has a port on it that pulls manifold vacuum, and a vacuum canister on the firewall behind the left fender. I have looked into some of the manuals but nothing is really clear, the carburetor has nothing for ports in the back for say the Brake Booster, there is a plug in that. Any help or Pictures would be great, and thank you in advance.
I too have non power brakes in my 69 but no a/c. Modulator runs off front of carb (lower) port under fuel bowl, distributor vacuum port from top of primary metering block port and larger PCV (manifold) port at rear of carb (750 dp Holley).
