I have a matching numbers 1968 straight 6, ohc, 3 speed on the column firebird. I recently started a restore and the gentleman that is helping said there is a part that mounts on the frame that the 3 speed on the column goes to and then it goes to the transmission. He said it pivots. The only thing he can find is off a manual on the floor or not a 6 cyl, which is the correct one. I don't even know what this piece is or what its called. Any ideas? I talked to Firebird Central and they said they haven't seen one with my configuration, only the bigger motors or manuals on the floor, which don't fit. Thank you in advance
