I have a matching numbers 68 firebird with a straight 6, OHC, 3 speed on the column car. I'm currently restoring it and have ran into an issue. There is a piece that mounts to the frame and the 3 speed goes into and then it goes to the transmission. It has some type of swivel on it. I don't know what this is called or what the part number is. I've had a few firebird places say that the piece won't be the same unless its the 3 speed on the column, the floor shift won't be the same. Any help with this part, or a part number ? Thanks in advance...... Jeff
Extrapolating that info to the GM parts number list on the same site, your GM Parts number would be 3895291.
