I have been spending the better part of 6 days gathering bolts and fasteners from 25 years of stashing here and there and cherry picking 67/8's.

If you are looking for a bolt...or a couple..I need a picture of the bolt you need. PM me with the pic or post it here..If there is a specific marking on the head bolt...include that as well.

They are all cleaned up tumbled/polished bare metal and will come fogged in oil and not coated....that is until I can get my black oxide, zinc/cad/phosphorous/oil stuff up and running.

This reminded of something from my youth:

Was in the garage till 4 am this morning organizing, cleaning and restoring more bolts..I swear, I need some Xanax with the amount of bolts I have.

On a side note...anyone ever see 5 grade bolts with a Delta symbol or a triangle on the head? I have about 40 of them in various coarse sizes. from various sources..but I never mixed in my auto bolts with anything else. Found these bolts in 4 different storage containers.

Best I could come up with thus far is that the delta symbol is a close tolerance fastener.

On a side note...I have the 68 assembly manual...Is there a source for fasteners for 67-68 Firebird engine, drivetrain fasteners?

If not..may be a good time to compile some data...From reading Harold's resto blog over the years and his penchant for detail and documenting...gave me the inspiration about detail.

Man I wish I has access to the 68 assemble manual. I searched and never found one.

Any way to make a PDF of it? I would even pay for a copy from office max or some other copy company. They might even be able to do a PDF.
