I've searched the internet and used the forum search function here with no success. Could anyone post a photo showing the placement of the trunk release button for a 68 convertible w/ AC? I believe it sits in the glove box. Thank you!

It's mounted on the left top wall of the glove box just behind the light switch thingy. I was only able to find a catalog picture and a real good picture showing the 68 Bonneville trunk button location so between the two that's what I went by. It's a great option to have. I too have a 68 ragtop w/A/C.

Sure, will tonight...Also, there's a perforation in the cardboard that will locate the trunk release button in proper spot inside the glovebox. Good repros will have this feature.
It appears that after all this was not a factory option according to the note I found: The trunk lid release option A91 was cancelled so presumbly no '68 models were built with this from the factory - see Page 184 of the Factory Assembly Manual.
