Those are hard to find. I paid quite a bit last year for a '68 version. It did have the heads, but no carb.

Yes, engine unit number is 6 digits, like 521962. I didn't right it down, but can get it tomorrow if it tells something. I thought the number was just unique to the car.
It is short block with waterpump and triple crank pulley, and timing cover, intake - off. All internals suppose to be original. I thought of tearing it down to check no.s and make it easier to move around.
ok, the motor number is 521956. Thanks for the info. I haven't decided to keep it and find a set of heads. I had a 67 lined up last year to put it in, but it fell thru. Now. someone wants to trade parts for it.

I have a B097 water pump (good) and I'm sure the pulleys I just pulled it all of my 67 400 I won't be using, timing cover wasn't good enough to keep so I pitched it. Just sold the 670's
