Anyone ever use one of those seam breakers they advertise suppose to break through spot welds. If so do they actually work?
What spot welds are looking at to break? The tool will work well for some situations and not so much for others.
If you are trying to remove spot welds in rockers or on the frame it will cause more damage. I will send you a pic of a tool I bought that will take any out with a lot less effort.

The tool I used is the Blair Enforcer SpotWeld Drill. I also used the curved seem breaker tool.
The problem with the Seem breaker is it tends to rip the steel if the spot weld does not "pop" off right away.
With the Blair tool I was able to drill out spot welds in thick or thin metal.
Hear are some pics. Notice the clean drilled spot welds vrs the torn spot welds (using Seem breaker). The Seem breaker does not tear everytime but it would be very difficult to use on the rocker panels.
Standard curved bit, I go with curve side toward metal I'm removing, I got pretty darn good and quick at it with as much as I've done. I might get a ripped spot on occasion if I get in a hurry and I also use my spot weld cutter also, but poor folks have poor ways. I'll get a pic of mine
