Been working on my interior - 68 vert (right now under dash), been going pretty well, but I've got a couple of questions.
1. Anyone have any bright ideas about how to get a good seal on the defroster duct to dash? The repop gaskets suck. I was considering using self-adhesive insulating pad on the bottom of the dash with some buildup where the duct doesn't match up well. Anyone tried this?
2. My bulb socket for the oil indicator on the instrument cluster has a dangling wire. It seems to have a contact for the instrument cluster PCB. I haven't pulled the cluster yet, but I'm guessing it's some kind of secondary contact that will light up the oil indicator? anyone seen something like this.

I don't recall the defroster duct to dash connection having a seal...unless I'm thinking about the connection from the heater box to defrost duct.

All the bulbs for the idiot lights and indicators just twist in with a socket that makes contact with the PC board, should not have any wires hanging.
