I might need to replace the front bumper to fender filler gasket on my 1968 Firebird. Ames performance sells replacements that are plastic and the quality of the pieces is fair to poor. Does anyone have any experience with after market bumper to fender filler. Should I just try to clean and restore the original gasket. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I have two or three really nice original sets, and I also have one real nice set of the hard to find early '67 metal ones. I'm willing to sell all of these if anyone needs them.
The repops are junk from what I've heard.
