after taking out the turn signal switch from the steering column, theres a C-snap ring, thrust washer and a wave washer on the steering shaft just before the signal switch is removed. needless to say, the wave washer had been worn so bad that it came out in several pieces. I have not been able to find a replacement. my questions are:

does anyone have experience finding one?

whats the purpose of this wave washer? does it provide spring or is it to just add space? if I cant find one, can I just use a regular flat washer in its place?

Thanks for reply. I checked out the website and I found the wave washers but I'm not sure what size I need. I'm thinking maybe the 8mm or even the bowed spring washer. Just not sure. Can't seem to find info on it either. Was the wave washer used for spacing or as a spring load?

Thanks for the link. I found a wave washer and from what I can tell it looks to be the right one but its for vehicles 1990-2008. I will have to contact them for more details.
