Does anyone make a better oil pump primer tool than the Mr. Gasket version? Maybe one that includes the adjustable bushing for building quicker oil pressure & an upper plate to keep the shaft centered like the ones sold for Chebbies? I'm shopping for one but all I find is the "simple" version. Just curious.

I have one I made from an old points distributor. Took a grinder to the gear and smoothed it out. Welded a bolt to the top of it and connect a drill to it, just light a drill bit. Works great and works on different engines.

I haven't had any issues with the Mr. Gasket Tool. I suppose a guide would be nice, but I haven't needed one so far..
