Changing non-tilt column to tilt column,does anyone know terminal placemenyt on tilt column switch? Thxs

I switched my 69 non tilt with with a tilt column out of a 70 GP and just plugged it in
and if I remember correctly everything work fine

Hi, Changed my 69 from non tilt to tilt and the tilt requires a tilt Ign . switch and the plugin harness must be changed 180 deg. before hookup.
This can be critical working with old wiring harness. There is a switch for non tilt and a switch for the tilt. Have got my tilt installed now and it is great! When I reversed the plugin assy and got it plugged in found a wire in the old harness separated and car would not start. A smart tech found the prob and it works now.. Good Luck with your project. Not an easy task and there is no room anywhere under the dash in a 69!
