This is originally a California Car, and comes with the original black plates. This is the Sprint version, not base OHC, it came with (and still has) the 3.55 posi rear end, with both Radius Rods (stock traction bars) and came from the factory with the Z28 suspension. It also came with the Deluxe interior option.
Currently the front suspension has been changed. Now riding on Speedtech upper and lower controls arms, with ATX spindles and C5 Disc Brakes. Also has Moog #5536 front springs and new shocks. I have all the original suspension, and front brake items if you wish to put back to stock. I also have a new set of front ties that have never been mounted, one spare rim that matches what you see on the car now, and the original wheels, tires, and hubcaps that the car came with. All gauges, and electronics are working, and fully functional, including hood tach (ohc version with 6500 redline instead of 5500), except the rear window defogger which needs a new wiring harness. I have been driving this lately, and have put several hundred miles on the car since getting the suspension changed, and engine back in it. The engine has all new gaskets, water pump, fuel pump, lines and hoses, and is a 250ci with a 2504bbl head and 4bbl Camshaft ("E") cam. The engine, currently has a 1bbl manifold set on it. Car has a 3-speed manual.
I also have installed an aftermarket CD/Radio unit in the glove compartment, this is tied into a one piece speaker kit in the original front factory dash location, as well as two 6X9's mounted in the rear deck factory locations underneath the rear shelf. I will also provide the original steering wheel which needs repair to the upper section.
Also comes with all of the following (not currently installed): Ford High output T5 Transmission GM T5 Case (3)Weber 45 DCOE Carbs (never used) Clifford triple weber intake manifold Clifford Long Tube Headers New close-ratio steering box Rear 3-Leaf Springs Speed Tech Solid Body Mounts Ignitor 2 Flame thrower 2 coil Teflon and fiber gaskets Front Bumper Fillers
Additionally I have one full extra engine, as well as a 3rd mostly complete engine, and a crate of various engine parts that include many new lifters, motor mounts and misc. hardware.
I also have the following OHC6 Tools J-22261 Camshaft Oil Seal Remover J-22325 Main Bearing Cap -- Remover and Installer J-22232 Timing Belt Adjuster J-22264 Bearing and Seal Remover
This car is a head turner, and a good 10 footer. However there are imperfections. This is a survivor that has not been restored, however it has hardly anything more than surface rust underneath. There is some rust developing under the paint on the rear passenger side wheel well, which was there when I purchased the car a few years ago. Additionally the seats could stand to be re-done, I believe they are the original material, and the drivers seat is beginning to separate on one of the bottom seams. The cars runs well and is fun to drive, definitely gets attention. I was originally thinking of doing a pro-touring style ohc just because they are unique, but now feel like I don't get enough use our of it to warrant keeping it. While I would love to see someone keep the ohc6 in it, it would be a good pro-touring starter, however you wanted to go.
Located in Bowling Green, KY, and can be brought to Louisville Kentucky, under the right conditions. Interested in selling as a complete package, I will not sell individual parts unless whoever buys the car does not want them. Asking $25,000.00.
Since I have had to answer the question a couple of times already, I would like to try and sell everything together as much as possible, however if you are interested in just the car or some combination of car and certain parts, feel free to make an offer. I will hold off on selling any parts separately until the car is gone.
