I have my interior out and I want to run some wires and sensor cables for aftermarket gages and car stereo stuff (large power cable from the battery to my amps). I have been digging around under my dash on the passenger side and can't find any existing penetrations into the engine compartment. Are there any or do I need to make a new one. If so, any recommendations on a good spot?
If you have an auto trans car, there should be about a 1" diameter cover plate near the steering column where the clutch linkage passed through.

I should have expected some of those replies. I guess my message heading could have been a little more tactful. At least everyone has a sense of humor.
I did use the one penetration for the clutch pedal but I am going to convert to a 4-speed. The others you all have mentioned, can I get to them with the dash in?
