My retainer (opposite end of bulb) that holds the ignition switch light/fiber optic cable is missing so I'm looking to see if anyone has either the retainer only or the cable assy. Thanks is advance.
Thanks. it was an option on "some" Firebirds, but was more common on the bigger Pontiacs. Just something I added. Would love to find one if you think you have one available.

Sorry for hijacking someone's pic. but you are correct, looky here! Option 672 toward the bottom. Even remote decklid on this one. This thing was friggin LOADED!!!
The ash tray does not have the ring, mine has that as well- I think that was a common/ standard thing on birds? The cable goes right in the top of the ashtray housing.

Still looking for this thingy. I found the cable itself but still need the "ring" looking retainer on the end of cable you see in the picture. Let me know what you have.
Yes I do have the lighted ashtray option, the end clips into the ashtray housing while the lighted ignition switch set up has a ring that attached to the ignition switch itself and shines the light thought the switch slot. The GTO ignition switch fiber optic should be the same so if you want to part with one let me know. I still have the fiber optic cable and the light socket just need the ring portion for the opposite end of the fiber optic cable, but will consider the whole cable assembly if you have it.
Hey, You could make that pretty easily. It is literally a ring, with one flat side on the inner circle and a couple of small tabs to fold over onto the cable to secure it. A jigsaw, some thin sheet metal a file and a couple of hours. I bet you could even use tin and tin snips.
Get your measurements from the ignitions switch for the ID and go from there.
The end of that fiber-optic cable just points into the hole on the back of the switch.
