Converting a 6 cyl Bird to a V8, changing all fuel lines and sending unit to 3/8. Any trick or method to get the longest metal line, the tank to pump in position?
It just takes time and patience Last one I did was folded up like a pretzel from shipping and I had to fight with it to fit up against the floor and get into the clips.
Patience yes! Actually had to walk away for a moment. Came back, ended up disconnecting the rear shock, front bracket on leaf spring, and rear brake line. Once the front half was situated, the rear went right back, with a help from jacks and pry bar.
