Still keep an eye out here, just haven't posted much. Hunting season is about done and I can resume a normal live again:) I have a few shows to work yet but ready to go soon. Starting a plan to pull that engine, I'm gonna have a ton of elementary questions, hope you'll help.
One question now though, don't want to high jack the other thread: you guys were talking about motor mounts, Specifically the height for clearance of the oil pan. I never had a motor mount apart, but what struck me odd was and heres the question: The motor doesn't have to be in an exact position for perfect alignment? I presume not by your comments on the motor mount thread. It would seem to me that the crank shaft, center line of tranny, drive shaft and center line of rear input should be aligned (perfectly). Or is that just overkill for a passenger car?

I need help, if anyone see's I'm going down the wrong road--Straighten me out!
FGFs have engine mounted about 1 inch over to the right side, to allow for booster....this used to make it very hard for guys in Australia when they converted to RH drive....(which I hear they no longer are required to do)...but engine isn't centered...

May vary between states, but usually vehicles over 30yo can stay LHD.
