Sounds nice! Knowing Banshee when he says the original engine is complete from the air cleaner to the casters on the engine cradle you can bet it is..

Good luck with the sale dude!

I read the engine as being a "date or period" correct block, but not "original, Banshee can correct me if I am wrong because the words "original engine" were also used later in the add. Sounds like a nice one all the same. Pics speak volumes!

It's the original block. PHS shows the 6 digit EUN the same as stamped on the block. As well...the VIN is stamped and the same as the title, the PHS, the hidden VIN's and the VIN plate.

Hope that clears up any nomenclature irregularities.

The reason for the "Fire" sale is that I am actively looking for a RAII or a possibly 69 Trans Am.

Thanks for the clarification regarding numbers matching! Looks like a really nice car, and a really good price for the 400 HO optioned, unless the 455 floats your boat.

Best of luck with your sale and happy hunting for the RA II.

Banshee,

This is a beautiful bird and a fantastic deal for somebody. It would cost 35k just to restore one. Good luck with the sale. That Alpine is beautiful.

Yes...but I have to replace the oil pan gasket on the 455 first. 200# cylinder pressure with a bad pcv valve is no joke.
