I understand subframes may have been stamped with the car's vin number (similar to what was done on the fire wall). I have two questions. Is this true for a 68 firebird subframe? If so, where is the stamp typically located?
However, I have heard there were VIN stamps on full frame Pontiac vehicles.

And FGF bodies have "hidden" VIN's (last set of numbers) on top of the cowl area and behind the heater box on the firewall.
